We do not extract our formulas expecting them to sit on shelves for two or three years, as do most herbal manufacturers–we expect them to change necessarily, as our understanding does.
In addition, most herbal extracts on the market contain between 50%-65% alcohol for the purpose of preserving them for long periods of time. My Herbalist formulas contain 20%-22% alcohol–enough to safely preserve them, and allowing a much higher concentration of active herbal constituents. Isn´t that what you´re supposed to be paying for when you buy an herbal extract?

Lawrence Miller has been a practicing herbalist for nearly twenty years. After acquiring non-Hodgkin´s lymphoma at age 21, Lawrence combined self-prescribed herbal formulas along with chemotherapy to survive the disease, then utilized herbal medicine exclusively to detoxify from treatment, become vital and remain cancer-free.
