What’s in the My Herbalist for Kids formulas?
The My Herbalist product line is made from non-sprayed, non-sulphured western and asian herbs, and extracted with kosher vegetable glycerine. All of the herbs have been carefully chosen by Dr. Lawrence Miller, L.Ac., Dipl.C.H., based on extensive clinical and research-based findings on their efficacy. All of the herbs in My Herbalist for Kids formulas were grown free of pesticides or chemicals of any kind. The herbs are then processed in the US at GMP compliant facilities, so you can be sure they’re of the highest quality.

How long do they last?
The formulas come in two-ounce bottles, and how long they last varies on the product and how often it’s taken. For example, Little Dreamer, our childhood sleep formula, if taken every night at the recommended dosage, will last for approximately one month. Stuffy Nose (along with the other cold/flu formulas) would usually be taken for a shorter period of time, and on average would cover 3-4 ‘colds’.

Why are My Herbalist products better than those already on the market?
While most herbal extracts for children on the market contain between 40%-60% glycerine, My Herbalist’s extracts only contain 20-25% glycerine, allowing for much greater herbal concentration and much higher efficacy. Do they taste ‘herby’?

The herbal taste is tempered by the sweet flavor of glycerine, which also acts as a natural preservative, but if necessary the formulas can be added to mint tea or apple juice to help kids take them. What age range are the formulas appropriate for?
In general, the formulas are appropriate for children ages 2-15; when children are younger and weigh less, they would take the lower end of the recommended dosage, taking more as they get bigger.
